Generally speaking a website in which we have control of the domain name and hosting will take approx 2 weeks to complete, However if there is a deadline that needs to be met we will endevour to meet it.
In our experience the most common delay in the creation of a website is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.
If you would like to use our services all you need to do is inform us of the domain name you would like to use and send us a brief idea of your requirements. We will then forward you an official quote based on your outline, on acceptance of this quote we will purchase the domain in your name, setup the right hosting package for your project and consult with you as to the overall design you require. We will make available theme libraries to assist you with picking a design.
As the site is being built we require you to be gathering all text and images you require on the website.

All on going costs (if any) will be clearly outlined in your written quote, but as a rule there are 3 main factors in costing the website, the domain, the construction of the website, and the website hosting. The construction of the website will be a one of cost as per your quote whilst the website hosting and domain purchase will in most cases be a yearly fee, (payable in advance). We offer two website hosting packages $150.00 + gst per year for base website hosting or $250.00 per year which gets you an element of website support from us. ie minor changes to content on the site, security updates, and off site backups of the websites databases are all included in this hosting package, handy if you expect many changes to the site ie staff changes, newsletters etc.
We accept Cash, Cheque, or Bank transfer, Credit card payments can be made via paypal (fees apply)
50% deposit is required on acceptance of our quote before any work will start. We have found that when there is money invested in the website by the client there is incentive to get the site finished therefore the content and images tend to flow on to us quicker.
We can and we are happy to come to you if you are in the Dunedin area or we can meet in our Mosgiel office (appointment only). However a meeting is not always necessary, I have found in most cases email and phone communications suffice.
Absolutely YES, We will assist you with instruction on how to do changes to your website and you will find the website backend very intuitive and straight forward, all that is needed is a webbrowser and your username and password.

Wordpress is a website/webblog platform that has a very easy content management backend. this enables websites to be made within the WordPress Frame work therefore no need for expensive website design tools. added functionality is given via plugins that make it very easy to add additional features to the website. In fact even the look of the website can be changed dramatically with a few clicks by uploading wordpress themes.
A wordpress theme is in effect a skin for your website although this is perhaps over simplifying what a theme can do. It is possible to turn a base WordPress blog install into a stunning feature rich website all with a theme and a few clicks.
There are literally thousands of themes available for WordPress Many of them free. We find the support and quality of premium themes well worth the price and with most premium themes for wordpress costing under $100, price should not be a barrier for good design.

If you like any for your website we will purchase it on your behalf and install it onto your website. we are also able to create custom themes for your liking if you do no find any you like.
For the first month after completion of your site we offer free any minor changes or amendments needed to the site along with advice and training on how to maintain the website. Thereafter we are available to make changes to your website at an hourly rate. If you have purchased our supported website hosting you will get much of the day to day maintenance of the website included in the hosting package. just email us the content changes you require and we will upload it for you. (limitations apply)
We will make every effort to ensure the hosting is stable and secure for as long as we are hosting the website.
